Nigel Hague - Managing Director.



Nigel has been involved in various family businesses throughout his life, starting to take messages, print documents, assisting with property renovation etc. from a very early age. After leaving school at eighteen he became involved in the management of both four nursing homes and the hotel business on a full time basis, working his way from the bottom upwards in both businesses simultaneously.
Upon the sale of the businesses in 1995 Nigel went to work for Country Care Home Partnership as a Nursing Home Consultant inspecting, supervising and reporting on home nationally. Subsequently Nigel was employed by Aldi as a store manager for seven years after this period he went to Morrisons Supermarkets.
City Scaffolding was set up as a new company at the current premises in Barlborough in January 2003 and became a limited company in June 2003. For the first eighteen months or so Nigel was involved in on site scaffolding as he trained for Part 1, Part 2 and finally achieving Advanced Scaffolding Accreditation.
